A wonderful lunch cooked to perfection. Delicious fisherman platter with broiled haddock, scallops, shrimp with cooked to order onion rings & roasted asparagus. Wife had a generous very pleased with her haddock fish and chips. Found a 3% on check a surcharge for using a credit card (against Connecticut laws)
What a great place to start your evening off with something cool to drink and an appetizer. We enjoyed sitting at the bar with our friends and chatting with our favorite bartender Lori who always makes us smile and laugh. We love getting the baked stuff shrimp baked potatoes and asparagus. Was unbelievably delicious. yummy We love meeting there after the beach or before going out for the evening. Always a great time! You can’t go wrong there ENJOY
We like the variety at Charlie's Place and always enjoy our food. The breakfast is awesomeness. The greatest thing is if the order is not perfect the way you like it Charlie takes it back in the kitchen and fixes it with no issues. Always great service and the atmosphere is nice. Never feel rushed. We have to sit the bar area because it's handicapped accessible and it's very enjoyable. We have never had to wait long to get a table. Even when busy.
The pork ribs were nice and smoky, juicy tender and the sauce had an awesome flavor. The workers were very polite. I'll be going back when I come fishing here again. Shout out to Blackhawk fishing also.
We went there for the very first time the other day, and completely enjoyed ourselves! It’s newly taken over by a local restauranteur who has a great track record. The food was delicious and the service was perfect! We had Greta, and she was absolutely delightful! I ordered the shrimp and mango salad, which was scrumptious, and my husband ordered the love salad, which was delicious with a side of the garlic chicken wings that were cooked to perfection not greasy just delicious ! So, yeah, definitely check it out. The only thing I would comment is that the building could be updated to reflect a fresher look-which I’m sure the new owner has plans for!
We've always loved this place. They are known for the best prime rib. Clean. Family oriented. Food is always tasty and always feel full after. Sometimes too full . Waitresses are always kind and patient. You won't be disappointed.
The food was good here! I had the seafood platter. It had fish shrimp and scallops with asparagus and broccoli! For an appetizer, we had seafood stuffed mushrooms!
